In a popular post on a certain community, a woman goes on a long emotional rant about how she was at a music event and a drunk guy told her to smile. She immediately insulted his "micropenis," and then threatened violence. Her boyfriend responded by removing her from the situation and telling her to calm down. She admits to being drunk as well.

Her main complaint was that her boyfriend apparently had more of an issue with her than the other guy.

Men learn early and are reminded often to not write checks your ass can't cash. Women have the luxury of shouting obscenities at people and seldom face repercussions for emotional outbursts. Men play by a different set of rules, where when you begin to verbally assault another man, you risk having an act of violence committed against you.

Naturally when I said as much, I was banned while the people who responded to me with abusive messages were not.

Be very careful around women who expect you to play security guard for them. Deescalation is always the best tactic when you are not in imminent danger. Remember, these were feminists (who believe in "toxic masculinity") getting angry that a man did not raise his fists to fight another man because his girlfriend was miffed.
