The existence of that whole council is sexist. Free period products paid by men. Just another way to subsidize women.

Is a sanitary product a human right? Should I get condoms, shaving foam, razors (expensive af), trimmer for free?

It is only fair, if the government pays the same amount of money they spend on women's products on a product that men need. If not, then it's just another policy to treat women special.

It’s fine if he’s a specialist and great on his field, but it’s understandable to be anxious about trusting someone about something that person will never experience. But if they’re getting those products for free then fuck it, clearly they’re doing better than America and I’m willing to accept they know what they’re doing.

The fact that a "period dignity officer" would even be needed is so absurd. It's menstruation. How about let's educate kids about it, properly, so the stigma is removed without needing to pay someone an additional 32K a year to do that?
