The reason men are valued more than women is because 85% of men are mostly the sole breadwinners in their family
The fact that 60% of women in the USA are morbidly obese indicates taht the people who draw these illustrations are women.
I believe that the scale would be balanced if the woman exercised too.
The man had to work hard & get a useful degree to be of value in a capitalistic society.
You can't expect a 6-figure paycheck for graduating with lesbian dance therapy & then blam "Patriarchy" for it. You have to build value for surviving (?)

One of the reasons feminists are over represented in academia and teaching professions is that they know they need to get kids while they are young. They know that their views would not be popular and that they cannot actually support most of them with data so they need to proselytize to kids who are not as able to challenge them in order to soften them up and get them accustomed to not challenging their assertions. That way, over the coming years and decades when the now grown up kids hear dreck like "women have always been and still are oppressed in the west and we live in a rape culture", it sounds familiar to them and their "go along with it" knee jerk reaction is already cultivated. Guaranteed this feminist teacher would have her dishonest gaslighting ass handed to her if she actually picked on someone her own size.

The image from your book looks like anti-male propaganda. It's similar to stuff the Nazis had showing how mean and nasty Jews were. In the picture the boy is seen smirking / grinning and the girl is upset. This is to show children that boys are evil and girls are victims.

Teaching that an entire group of people are evil because of how they were born is hate. It's what the Nazis did. Do you understand what I'm saying? The picture doesn't represent what is true. It represents what your teacher wants you to think is true. They want you to see boys as evil and girls as victims.

Honestly I'm not surprised at the reaction you got.

Your statements basically boiled down to.

Overgeneralizing without sufficient evidence.

Using irrelevant premises.

Antagonizing fat people and fat women.

Implying some fairly misogynist stuff.

Trivializing a serious social problem.

And most importantly you don't really seem to have a good amount of knowledge as to how things work.

Ok let me unpack.

Where did you even get the evidence that 85% of men are the sole and I'm placing emphasis on the word sole here because if you look at sources online that is not the case. I'm typing on phone so I will add sources in a second reply.

You made irrelevant remarks about obesity and it's connection to women in addition to the implication that since they are obese they are wrong and that makes you right. What does obesity even have to do with the image? How does it help your argument? What point are you trying to make with that? You even put in the word probably which honestly is something you don't want to do in a debate unless you are sure which I am sure you are not. You don't even know the illustrator or have statistics to back this up come on man this is debating 101 if you don't have the source to back up a opinion don't talk about that opinion.

You antagonize women and make implications that their problems do not exist and that they have zero struggles in jobs just because men make more money? Even if that is true that is insensitive and is self destructive in your case.

You seem to ignore a lot of social issues that women have. Here in MRA we acknowledge that men have issues but at the same time we are against the thought that women do not have issues. It's literally a given that both genders have problems we are just representing one point. Women do face issues in the job market and they sometimes have to deal with problems because of their gender.

You trivialize so much social issues and treat them as if all you need to do is press a button to make them go away whilst being insensitive about it.Let's cut it down to something you can sympathize with. Imagine if I said men do not need mental health support, they are just acting weak and they should toughen up if they want to catch up to the rest of their peers, doesn't sound good now does it? Well guess what the same logic applies to your remarks on salary and all the such.

So yeah, although I think your teacher may have went too far with your classmates amplifying the whole thing you are not innocent either and you have some things to work on if you don't want a repeat. Its not a bad attempt at an argument given your age and your teacher really failed by yelling, calling names and raising a mob against you. All of them are considered intolerabel in class. In your arguments you might want to take into consideration that no one has ever changed anyones mind by calling them fat and lazy. These might be some of your own feelings speaking.

To make a better argument, try not to draft away from the picture or let your feelings tempt you. Stick with the picture, an unbalanced scale in which men are heavier then women that measures in a male symbol.

In your argument you’re trying to answer a few questions. Why is the scale not balanced? Why are women lighter? Why are men heavier? Why does it measure using a male symbol? Remember that there are always two sides to the same coin. Try to find both and weight them in your argument. To win an argument, you must be at least familiar with your opponents views/narratieves.

Oh yes. Shaming. That is how I discovered how much taboo is to talk about it, on the hard way. From my experience my advice is don't go with them in arguments. Because arguments do not help. You will accomplish nothing. Its better to talk with a wall.

I respect the fact that you didn't go along with her and stood up for your beliefs. I don't know how it is in India but in the US you could get your parents involved or you could contact organizations that could help you.

My question is whether really every one in the class is against you or if it just seems that way. There might be some that agree with you and just didn't feel they could rock the boat. If you can find support from even one person it would help you.

Let me start out by saying that your teacher is a joke & does not deserve to teach. In fact, she is a danger to society for promoting such hateful, anti-male views & feminist lies to a bunch of impressionable kids.

That said, I also don't think you should be luring around these types of subs at your age. You are way too young to corrupt your mind with any kind of (gender) politics/ideology. You should be out playing with others, going out, getting into trouble (the good kind), making friends, and all of that other good stuff.

The thing is, what you wrote down is not necesarilly "wrong" (at least, not "all" of it), but the truth is you are way too young to truly grasp these issues & put them into perspective. And that's not criticism towards "you", as an individual. My point is you shouldn't be thinking about these things.

For example, you mentioned a few statistics... great... do you even know where they come from? Are they reliable? What is the reason that society is set up in such a way that we get to such disparities? Etc etc. It's perfectly normal to not really think about these things, because you haven't developed a critical mind yet.

But that also makes you EXTREMELY vulnerable to radicalization & extremism. Now, I don't think this sub is extreme at all & you didn't write anything particularly "radical", but it's also very easy to frame what you wrote in a sort of "Andrew Tate" mindset, which leads to true misogyny & idiocy. That's not what you wanna do. And the problem is that you wouldn't know this was happening to you, if it actually did. So PLEASE, be careful & don't grow up to become the very thing you hate.

I'm not saying you should just "accept" all this garbage, woke, misandrist lunacy. I'm glad that you are able to see through the bullshit at your age & call it out, but don't go searching for the "manosphere" just quite yet. Because that's exactly what the girls I grew up with did when they were teenagers, and they were basically ALL brainwashed & become complete man-hating harpies. For example, you bringing up how "women need to work out more" isn't exactly the best argument. There are biological reasons outside of women's control as to why they carry more bodyfat than men. Working out is great, but to hold trivial differences against women to make some type of "societal" point is misguided at best. And of course, (feminist) women are going to take issue with that.

Make a new screen name without your name in it. The power of Reddit is to remain anonymous and post your opinions.
I am an Indian male also. I have been shut down for voicing my opinions on things if it controversial. We call this "reading the room." I understand you wanted to bring a truth up to stance, but unfortunately your teacher did a horrible job with protecting you. Your teacher should have previewed your topic and guided you to change it.
Everything you say you are accountable for, even if you are repeating it or if it is the truth. There is a saying of "don't kill the messenger," but in this age, that phrase has been forgotten.
When posing an argument safely for writing in school, your goal is to get an excellent grade, not cause a revolution. Do that here, not at school.
The speech you see on this forum is not suitable for school topics. There is a bias here. It will get you in trouble. Yes, I get there are truths here, but in your life, you have to "play politics." It means that you keep topics neutral and safe as not to put yourself in danger.

Then you can take it to the principal and appeal all those things and ask the principal how is it possible that you keep getting nothing in everything you do, and only in her class. And how is it possible to at you’re the only one and no one else is getting a zero in every work give by that teacher. If the teacher decides to open her mouth and speak about the egg incident, you should argue if it was done during school hours where you would’ve counted as a student and her as a teacher at that time, and also what proof does she have that you were the one to do that. If you have a dog, walk your dog and make your dog do it’s business on the lawn or driveway. You can then have her credibility as a teacher be questioned if she’s gonna act that way

The reason men appear to be faverd is because men are only valued for what they do unlike women who are valued for who they are and unlike men are just simply valued and because of that men have to earn more in order to have some value in society.

And you could have pointed out that this picture is wrong because the scales are tip agents men for example in many countries men mack up most of the suicide but women get most of the mental heath resources plus women get there own scholarships but men do not in multiple countries.
