Should the book you read to your baby be according to their sex?

Read them the classics and don't worry so much about the gender roles. (I'm not sure why you're reading to a foetus at all tbh.) Give them the toys they like, starting with a mix but even with babies you can see what they like to engage with. You're not responsible for making a baby more masculine or feminine. That's a choice they can make for themselves when they're not a baby, you don't need to determine it for them so they feel pushed into one role.

Your baby won't care. Just read them whatever you think looks cute. Chicka Chika Boom Boom was a favorite for all four of my kids, and it teaches them their alphabet. I read it to them so many times that even though my youngest is now in second grade, I can still recite the book by memory.

Same goes for toys. They don't care, they just want what's fun. My older sons favorite toy was a purple cat that you could pull on a string. All of my kids (boys and girls) loved Thomas the Tank Engine. Sarah and Duck was loved by my two younger kids (boy and girl) and my younger son is 100% boy.

Yes, assume that your child will be a normal member of his or her sex.

Regardless of what the gender lunatics say, life will be far easier and better for somebody who adheres to traditional sex roles. You just get better outcomes in life as a man if you are masculine and better outcomes as a woman if you are feminine.

Children need guidance, not endless options and indifference.

Your baby can't understand English or whatever language your speaking. You could be reading a phone book for all it cares. The messages in books being absorbed won't even start till toddler years. Until then it absolutely does not matter lol
