I'm not sure it's all that bad, that women's sports are being ruined for women. I've always felt it was a great injustice that men are expected to subsidize special sports leagues for women, alongside the open leagues that are known as the men's leagues. Just because women can't beat men at something doesn't mean men should have to pay for a special pretend league where women get a chance to pretend they are the champions. In public universities, it's an enormous budget that has to be allocated for these little play-time pretend games of theirs. They should be allowed to have these leagues. But men should not be forced to subsidize them. The inclusion of naturally male athletes makes them look absurd, but only because it was absurd to begin with.

Yeah. I can understand having separate leagues or heats or divisions, because it's similar to having weight classes in some sports. I just don't think we should have to subsidize it. That actually applies at times to some men's sports, also. But it applies far more often to women's sports.

There was a time in tennis where the woman’s draw was a bit more interesting. So it got rye balls (didn’t hurt that some of the worn were…nice on the eyes). And that’s great! Market decides. Just like in the era of the big 3 the market decided men’s tennis was more interesting (which is also great).
But there shouldn’t be subsidization. To be clear, it is one thing if a male league owns a woman’s league and it is willing to take some losses to try to start up a successful venture. It is a different thing where the project is the wnba which would’ve folded years ago but-for the nba and espn subsidizing it despite zero justification.

Biologically there is also enormous intra-gender variability, in fact, that is largely what determines who the winner is. One can use statistics, but ultimately segregation is arbitrary.
I'd rather there be one predominant league for everyone with minimal restrictions (non-humans banned! human supremacy!) and if someone wants to create secondary leagues that cut half the population or all but 1 person, let them do what they want.

What fascinates me with these trans athletes dominating the women's sports is that Feminists were defending them about 3 years ago. It started in Connecticut with Selina Soule, who raised concerned that she lost in the state track and field tournament because of the trans athletes. It was dismissed because while it was a trans athlete that took first place, it was a cisgendered female athlete that took second place and beat another trans athlete that ended with third place. Also Feminists were still on their high horse and still kept insisting that there's no advantages in trans athletes.
I remember getting into an argument because South Park had tackled this issue in an episode where they literally portrayed the late Randy Savage, or at the very least made a caricature of him, as a transgendered athlete who dominates in a strong woman contest. The episode surrounds itself around people reacting to "her" huge success and victory. I had some very liberal and very feminist friends who thought this episode was insensitive and I pointed out the issue they were tackling and these guys didn't have any of it. I even got banned from the gamerghazi reddit for defending the episode too.
Well anyways fast forward 3 years later and now we have Lia Thomas making the headlines and now people are waking up to this nonsense. Of course Feminists are still divided since they want to support Lia and yet ironically it's coming at the cost of losing all the successes made by women especially in female athletics. It just fascinates me that Feminists are still trying to find scientific sources to suggest that trans athletes have no advantage in women's sports or they're trying to find cases where a cisgendered woman has beaten the trans athlete. With all that I keep asking, if trans athletes have no advantage, then why is it only trans women breaking records in women's sports and not the other way around? I have yet to see a story of a trans man dominating in a men's sports league. Maybe it's out there but I have yet to find a news story telling that.
I swear the feminists created this monster and now they're trying to double down, triple down, and deny any accountability for this. I have said this already, I don't care what people identify as or see themselves as. My own policy is that trans people can live their lifestyle how they please as long as they leave me alone, don't push their lifestyle down my throat, and as long as no one is harmed in process. That's where much of this issue is. People are getting harmed. Women are getting harmed because they're losing opportunities in sports and they're also being forced to share the locker room with a trans woman who still has male plumbing down below. There is a lot of extreme discomfort especially in College locker rooms where the women can't say anything without fear of being dismissed as transphobic. Also many of them are trying to push their lifestyle into our faces and ironically these are the same people who condemned the Christian community for doing that years ago or even now. I hope these Feminists will eventually wake up and realize there needs to be more lines drawn on this phenomenon but I doubt they'll come to their senses.
So yea, Feminists reap what they sow I guess.

I literally don't watch South Park because it's not my kind of humor. Out of how many hundreds or thousands of episodes there have been, I've probably only seen 1 or 2. But I specifically went out of my way to watch that one, which is "Board Girls" Episode 7, Season 23. And I nearly choked from laughter and amusement. That was such a great episode, and it doesn't surprise me at all that your Feminist "friends" found it so insensitive and in bad taste.

As a woman who used to compete competitively in swimming: the men's races were far above the women's.
If I were swimming nowadays against a trans man, I would never leave the starting block. The DQ alone would be worth it. If every female in every race refused to compete in protest, it would make any trans win [hopefully] meaningless.
