I’m not really informed about the ‘woke’ argument, but a factual thing is there is a formula influencing society, real influences that is affecting the people who watch and formulate a perspective and a thought. And simply pointing it out or bring attention to it is ‘controversial’ lmao

I am shocked that this came from the same team that developed Big Hero 6. So shocked in fact that I do not believe it. I've only just watched it and there is so much wrong with this movie. And comparing it to Big Hero 6 is just... night and day. Everything Big Hero 6 did right this movie did wrong. Everything great about Big Hero 6 is awful in this movie. And several of these people also developed Moana? No, something is horribly wrong.

Over the years I've shifted from looking at writing credits to director credits to producer credits... because thats where the power has shifted to who actually controls a movie. And its been easy and obvious recently to see where the bad influences come from. But this movie has a very tight production team credited and none of them should have been capable of this debacle. Something is very wrong in Disney.

Everything wrong with this movie are mistakes these people would not make on their own. They know how to make a movie properly, they wouldn't suffer this kind of sub-par production to be released under their names. Unless there was HEAVY inference/influence from HIGH up the corporate ladder. And it used to be that kind of influence was properly credited, but apparently now its not.

Whoever stuck their hand into this movie and turned it into garbage decided not to have their name associated with it. And thats terrible news for us. Because now its impossible to see, from the credits, the warning signs if a movie will be this bad. Which means the only way to tell is from the rumor mill. Which is not supposed to be a reliable source!

They really are just... murdering themselves. I'm on the edge of just writing off ALL Disney movies going forward, period. Just a blanket "no thank you" for anything from this production house or its affiliates. And they represent a MASSIVE chunk of ALL entertainment media. And they are trying to do this garbage with all of it? No thank you.

I saw It few days ago with my daughters. We just selected between the available kids-friendly films and had no idea about It before selecting this film.

I think the film was an average Disney production, not bad but not to be remembered.

And about the woke topic: come on, gays do exist, what is the problem showing It on films? Are you afraid children Will be infected by gay virus? Should we also avoid showing non White Christians on films to avoid yout kids getting muslims?

I really don't see the point if hiding gay teens under the table, just closing your eyes to reality won't change It and Will keep your kids in a Bubble.

"Go woke go broke?" What kind of idiot wrote this? Strange world bombed because it had no advertising. It has GAAAAAAYS in it! It's not even released in China where most of Disneys money comes from.
