I never made the point that the world exists entirely in the realm of speed dating
I never said that NOBODY can be attracted to a balding Indian janitor
but it's very unlikely, especially if that janitor is short, most women would not give that man a chance romantically, and to think otherwise would make you the deluded one.
I wasn't the one who brought up the Indian janitor, that was u/expendablesubhuman
Considering people's inner worlds is the foundation of dating and relationships.

Your original quote was,

and my answer is that 99/100 women will not settle for a genetically unattractive guy, much less an "average guy." Women are built by evolution to select good genes to pass on to the next generation.

As genetically attractive men are equally capable of being in shape, reading, travelling, playing instruments, holding conversations, being jovial/sensitive, etc. as non-attractive men, there is no reason for a woman to consider a non-attractive man romantically.

They will continue looking for Mr. Perfect, a man who is both genetically attractive and attractive in lifestyle.

Let's take two men, CHAD (Crazily Hot Adult Dude), but CHAD is abusive and has a past of manipulating and assaulting women.

and BISJ (Balding Indian Short Janitor), but BISJ is a very kind, thoughtful, athletic, and wise.

a woman walks by both of these men in the supermarket. Due to CHAD's superior bone structure and stature, he automatically catches the woman's eye.

The woman strikes up conversation with CHAD asking what he is looking for, and eventually they exchange contact information after brief conversation about where each of them are located in the city.

The woman leaves the store while walking directly past BISJ, and upon viewing his 5'2" stature, recessed chin, and hairline receded all the way to the back, she immediately feels a natural disgust response, not even stopping to consider him.

While one could argue that if this woman were forced to spend enough time with BISJ to realize the wealth of his heart, she may fall in love by chance eventually,

the woman and BISJ will never realistically spend enough time together for that to be possible.

The woman will keep spending time with people like CHAD until she finds one who will treat her decently.

BISJ will keep wondering what is wrong with his personality due to gaslighters online.

You didn't need to make such a claim for your response to be predicated on such a premise if it's to be remotely pertinent. Otherwise it's just absolutely irrelevant.
I never said that you said that nobody can be attracted to a balding Indian janitor. What I did was ask you to demonstrate that it's not possible.
I didn't say anything predicated on the notion that you bought it up. I simply told you that the variables you invoked had no bearing on the profession or nationality that were given as two apparently pertinent variables.
Whether one thing is a prerequisite to another is irrelevant to whether those things are synonymous to one another or not.

Your answer is irrelevant. The question is not what someone will do, but why they would do something. It was asked why a woman would settle for a "balding, Indian janitor" over an average guy. I gave a list of reason as to why a woman would do that. Your imaginary statistics as to what most women will do has no bearing whatsoever on that, and that's ignoring that you've completely made the stat up.

Further, you've not controlled for the pertinent variables. Age group. Socioeconomic status. Shared interests. Social circles. Language. Culture. You've given a laughable univariate analyses and controlled for no variables whatsoever.

The reality is that behaviours are expressed as a result of gene expression and, unfortunately for you, one of the strongest of those expressions is expressed in how individuals relate to each other on personal levels. Personality is a huge component.

Firstly, you've not demonstrated that they're just as capable. What sociological factors have you accounted for? Secondly, capability and reality are completely different, with the latter being all that matters.

"Genetically attractive" - you've moved the goalposts. Everyone is attractive, it's a matter of degrees. Are you talking about a particular percentile? If so, then what's your argument? If a woman is with a man below this percentile, then she will necessarily try to find someone more attractive? Can you demonstrate this? Any evidence? Can you specify what an attractive lifestyle is? Can you then support your claim behind this definition?

I'm not really interested in that weirdly detailed little fantasy that you've written out. Is this what you get off to or something? I've already conceded that traditionally attractive people have it easier, your odd fantasy has nothing to do with what's being discussed.

Women are mostly attracted to men whose physical appearance exudes high testosterone (tall, sharp defined skull, broad shoulders, full head of hair, body/facial hair, deep voice) which is determined pretty much entirely by genetics. Women will ignore or even resent genetic rejects, such as BISJ, and you will know this simply by virtue of having attended high school.

By neglecting this in your extremely long-winded comment entirely, and your aggressive word choice and usage of rhetorical questions, it seems that this is an emotional topic for you-- like somehow proving me "wrong" will justify some belief you have.

In fact, it seems like you are not even considering my (or others') point of view at all and are rushing to immediately disagree with everything that is said, to the point where you miss the bigger picture. This is evidenced by your indiscretion in evaluating which user is speaking to you, and is present from the very start of your comment.

In your very first of 4 refutations, you use the phrases "(not even) remotely pertinent" and "absolutely irrelevant" to describe the article I brought up showing what women are attracted to in a speed dating scenario. How can you say that what women are attracted to in a speed dating scenario does not carry over AT ALL to other parts of life? I find it curious you would be on this subreddit in the first place and still in disagreement, as if you simply sort by top of all time you will see that the science on what women are attracted to paints a very grim picture for dysgenic men.
