For someone to have such a fear of an entire group of people there must be some serious mental issues that remain unaddressed in them.

Feminists are not solving the root of this mental issues, and sometimes they even ENCOURAGE to let these negative emotions roam freely. Fear, if unaddressed, becomes irrational. Irrational fear turns into hatred. This is literally how every single form of prejudice came to be. Some people who genuinely hold hateful views take advantage of people in vulnerable positions to expand their hatred.

I've noticed that misandrists tend to blow things out of proportion and overall you can tell that they're VERY mentally unstable individuals.

It pains me to say that I don’t feel emotionally safe with them, and perhaps never have with a man, but it needs to be said because far too often we are afraid to say it.

I don't understand how this could be said any clearer at this point. As a woman living in a Western country, she is one of the safest people on the face of the planet. No group in human history has ever even dipped their toes in the pool of privilege she swims in every day.

I'm so sick and tired of feminist women talking about how chronically unsafe they are. Paranoia is thinking and feeling like you are being threatened in some way, even if there is no evidence, or very little evidence, that you are. And this describes them to a T.

According to every violent crime statistic we have, they're safer. Why do they constantly talk about feeling unsafe? I assume that since this woman can do the literary equivalent of the Cleveland Steamer on her blog, she has an internet connection. These statistics are free to view, all down to the middle-class suburban city in which she resides.

I think my favorite part of this article is the woman peering through the blinds, fearful. It really describes this woman's state of mind, and I can imagine she does it regularly at home.

In the off chance that one of her sons is browsing this community and reading this, you do not have to live like this. You do not deserve to be hated by the woman who raised you. I'm sorry your mother is sick.

1.Trust is key in a relationship,i don't think anyone is gonna argue against that,if you are afraid your sons will abuse you or other women just because he is a man i don't see a lot of future in their relatioship.

2.she says that when she call out his son for his sexism he gets defensive, i can see see two reasons this may happen.

A)his son do inconsciously sexist things and his mother call him out and he gets defensive.

It's not a rape culture: it's the inevitable mismatch between the biological drive for men to mate and the civilised view of right to choose over sex. The civilised view does not cancel the biological drive and society needs to consider ways to achieve a win-win outcome, not pursue the knee-jerk response of throwing the baby out with the bathwater in attempting to suppress the male sex drive for womens advantage only.

These two elements need to coexist. Society has just been lazy in adopting a knee-jerk solution for expediency that is creating more problems than it solves, because it hasn't understood the problem and that is largely because women fail to see a man's perspective as much as men fail to see a woman's perspective.

It's difficult for a man to see a womans perspective when sex is just fun for him and he is driven biologically to want so much of it that is often unmet, the general response is his consent and to be puzzled why women aren't the same. It's different for a woman who bears (sic) biological consequences to sex and thus must be more selective, although civilised developments have given women much more control over their biology; and the possibility that women obtain satisfaction from more than just sex.

Both are driven by biology and should not be ignored. The question is how does society reasonably give women choice over sex to their required satisfaction, whilst also permitting men their biological sex drive to their satisfaction. Neither is more important than the other or deserves advantage.

The situation has become more complicated though: women have achieved laws to prohibit unwanted sex and its associated trauma, but now those laws are being extended to cover other things women are subjectively uncomfortable about without first asking whether it is reasonable to consider these things traumas that should be eliminated and then whether it is reasonable to eliminate them by unilaterally suppressing the source (men).
