Lurker / First time posting.

I'm in a musical project with a female who has been showing me a lot of disrespect. Here's the story.

She is very inexperienced but a great song writer. I, on the other hand, have decades of experience and knowledge. I formed the band and got the musicians for her. Set up her first show. I've guided her in every aspect. The problem is she is a wreck emotionally and very defensive. She throws little off handed comments that I feel are disrespectful. The only reason I haven't told her to fuck off is because the music is really good. Am I just too emotionally invested? How would you all handle this?
