So, I guess TikTok has a new ultra-high-speed-low-drag filter that is near perfect (at least by today's cellphone resolutions). But, the people who are mostly complaining about it are not men concerned about getting duped. The angst seems to be coming mostly from women. They are uneasy, in an Uncanny Valley way, about what the filter is doing to their faces. It's making them beautiful, but unnaturally so, and without the process of putting on makeup.

So, as a communal thought-experiment, let's plot this out.
