Its very hard to find men's rights places that arent critical of feminism because most of the obstacles for men's rights are caused by feminists.

That being said, I'm not a fan of always reading negative thing either. But "social justice" always has to be negative - it is pointing out flaws in our society.

You might find http://www.newmalestudies.com/OJS/index.php/nms interesting. While feminism is given no special breaks, the articles put the issues of men first and are more academic. It's possible to tiptoe around the elephant in the room (feminism) when talking about men's issues, but what you choose to talk about is your choice. New Male Studies may interest you even if you want to stay silent.

Your question is a good one, and I think it's something the people here (including me) who all care about men's issues should take on board. It'll be important in the future to develop more focus on purely helping men, rather than criticising feminists. The latter is important in some cases but not the whole story by any means.

Many of the things you can do to help men (as opposed to arguing against the excesses of some feminisms) aren't explicitly associated with the MRM, probably because it's controversial still. So for example, Movember just passed which is a great initiative to raise awareness for men's health. There are groups like men's sheds which are also growing.

And you mention various issues which have their own groups of activists who you could join with on behalf of men. For example, fathers' rights groups are widespread now; "intactivists" likewise; and there is increasing awareness of mental and physical abuse affecting men and boys too, with some charities now working in part or entirely to address these issues for men.

You could take your care for men and join in with some of these activists who cluster around a specific issue, rather than around a broader men's issues movement.

Well, a lot of online stuff can be very circle-jerky, but it's the nature of all online things. Part of maturing is being able to filter through it yourself and tell what's full of shit and what's useful.

You can get involved with one of the sub-issues without getting involved in all of MRM. I.e. the anti-circumcision movement is relatively separate from MRM - it's growing more quickly and many of them would not even considered themselves part of MRA. There are likely local shelters you can volunteer at, etc.

MRAs don't hold feminist dogma regarding patriarchy to heart at all. There are more liberal elements but a lot of traditionalism and conservatism is found in the movement. But that isn't all bad. Left libertarians are easy to get along with but I've disdain for "free marketering". That said you don't have to be or subscribe to any political perspective to see a need for the movement of mens rights. Am sure though you will find offensive speech after all this forum subscribes to "free speech" and that is a good thing imo.

I think the-spearhead.com is a great site. Although it is often antagonistic, there are still great articles written by W.F. Price that accurately outline mens issues. I disagree with many of Price's views, but he is a strong thinker and an eloquent writer.

What do you want?

You don't want to antagonize feminists, you don't want to argue with people. What do you want to do? If you want to participate locally you need to find local organizations, but you haven't told us your city. If you want to talk to people online, you are going to have to deal with arguing with people - especially feminists. Do you just want to keep up with news?

Sounds like you don't know what you want to do, you just know what you don't like.

I don't think you will find many MRAs or MRA websites that DON'T have an antagonistic tone towards feminism. When you really embrace MRA you are generally rejecting mainstream feminism and certainly the more extreme forms of gender feminism. There might be some use in equity feminism (true gender equality) but any policy or practice that favors women or hurts men is exactly what most feminists stand for, and all MRAs stand against. Such policies are unfair and unequal by demand, and like any other group that is treated poorly it is only natural for MRAs to be angry about it.
