Do you guys like to talk for awhile before asking for a number or date?

Yes, I try to build some rapport. I ask them about them, tell them very little about me, never offer my name. If I am interested in what they say, I ask them to tell me more. If they are interested in me, they will ask for my name.

I make solid eye contact, and I smile\smirk, a lot. I ask open ended questions that don't end in a Yes, No, Maybe, Ok, Fine. I ask lots of "What" questions like:

WHAT do you like about that?
WHAT made you want that?
WHAT scares you about that?

Essentially any question that uncovers “What makes you feel that way?” or “What makes you think that way?”

Very quickly, within a few minutes, we are having a conversation that I can tie into our emotions. Once that happens, I get very touchy feely. When appropriate, I flirt and escalate.

When I do talk, I talk in pictures, sounds, images, and feelings.

I assume you may be not connecting with the girls you are talking to, and maybe you are talking to much.

I don't dance at clubs, I swing dance. Once in a while, I'll meet someone who knows how to follow, and we will put on quite a show on the dance floor... even in a club. (You can almost swing dance to anything with a good beat...)

If you can approach with no issues, then yes, you are making progress.

Learn to engage the girls better. Its less about the number of approaches, and now more about how well and quickly you can connect, or eject and move to the next one...

I don't mind the odd night going out trying to pick up. Go right ahead, but if it's every week that is going to be a drainer.

Find some mates. Go out together and have a great time and make the girls your side project. You will probably end up pulling more frequently and with far less effort.

Props for approaching so much though. It is a numbers game at times and if you are putting yourself out there that much then some success is inevitable.
