So did little Nevaeh Buchanan, whose body was found in a slab of cement, quite possibly thanks to her sex-offending mother's boyfriend and her "father figure".

Thanks to Michigan law, as applied (which bears almost no resemblance to the words passed by the legislature), parenting time was effectively unavailable, and her real father had no access to the child, even when her substance abusing mother was imprisoned.

Good for this man. I applaud his actions in defending his daughter. As for the man who tried raping a five year old, he got off light with being beaten to death. That's the kind of thing that once you have control of the perpetrator, you take a gun and you make that sick son of a bitch suffer.

I was going to say something about 'innocent until proven guilty,' but if the father came in during the act and then the evidence backed that up; I suppose he should't be charged with anything. Especially considering his intent was to just incapacitate the perpetrator.

What's the point of living in a lawful society if you just take it into your own hands. He should have stopped the man and then called the police. You shouldn't get away with murdering someone unless it's in self defense no matter how awful it is.
