This was a really confusing read.

It shouldn't happen to either gender.

Not to be the asshole, but it isn't men's rights. It's fucked up, but it doesn't belong here (imho).

I think that MRM should look out for men and the abuses we suffer. Women's Rights Movement should do the same for women. And neither should conflict with the other if both do their job right(Good luck!). This is something, as a human, I can support, but this isn't the forum I expected to find it on.

also, she refers to her abuser as "her"

I have fully disclosed to the court which they then passed on to my abuser which resulted in her forcing her way into my home and assaulting me, she is now on bail with conditions attached. (I did ask that the court not give her a copy of the disclosure but was told that what the Judge sees she sees.)

Totally confused. Is the ex-husband a man who became a woman or something? Seems irrelevant, but I can't get the story without clarification. Also seems like a better story for /r/feminism.
