This isn't an MR issue. It's fucked up in the extreme, but it isn't a men's rights issue. Even if the john gets a much harsher penalty, which hasn't happened and might never happen, that still wouldn't automatically make this an MR issue. The US "justice" system is very broken. There are MANY cases where several people all participate equally in committing a crime, but the ones who plea bargain first will get lighter sentences than the others in exchange for testifying against them.

Didn't we just have a highly upvoted text post about not posting this? Yes, mistakes happen in the justice system a lot, but how exactly is this an MR issue?
