The info in that article is messed up. Haven't feminists being telling us that lack of active consent is a 'no'. I think it is just as messed up that a victim of statutory rape has to pay child support. I mean this is a huge WTF!

Call me crazy, but I think children conceived through rape should be automatically in custody of the victim (male or female), and the rapist should be stripped of any claim to parental rights. The victim can then choose to raise the child or give it up for adoption, and isn't constantly re-victimized for the next 18-21 years.

Further, if the victim chooses to keep the child and raise it, the rapist should absolutely be on the hook for child support.

The argument I usually hear about this is that the child support belongs to the child, not the mother. If this was true, then there would be accountability to the child and government oversight to ensure the money is spent directly on the interests of the child. If I bring this up to a feminist, they usually suddenly become conservative, decrying the government being too involved in a mother's life and wasting money on such accounting.

The argument would probably be that these are such rarities that they don't provide evidence for a systemic bias. I say , to the contrary , that they are symptomatic of just how biased the courts are and that in the case of such rarities , it just goes to show that no man is given a fair shake vis-a-vis a woman.

In other words , the courts just keep on proving that they think you're a walking ATM and that's it.
