Separated from wife for three days now and she’s demanding I payback a charge I made for car repairs - using our joint card - on day one of separation and is now asking me to either pay her back or work around the yard to pay it off, doesn’t sound right to me, thoughts?

Tell her to pound sand. That's joint money you used for something that would have been a joint expense the day prior.

That said, if you're legally separated now then make sure you separate your finances, too. And do that ASAP.
