I don't see why we're up in arms demanding justice before a trial happens with sexual predators but murderers are still expected to have a day in court before the public should acknowledge their proven or unproven crimes.

What of Kelly Brooke, the self admitted serial domestic violence abuser? Her career wasn't even derailed. She never lost her book deal or Sketchers endorsement deal. I'm not sure if her show got off the ground, but if it didn't, it probably wasn't because of her admission. She even did a gardening segment on a morning talk show (I forget which one).

After I read beyond the opening lines it became obvious that this was written by a woman, and the tag line agrees.

Rape is a serious crime and should be prosecuted in a court of law. Universities do not have the expertise required to investigate and prosecute these cases. Much less journalists.
