Technically this is true. I don't think people have an issue with mens rights. I think that they think men have privileges that women don't. They confused rights with privileges.

If we argued about the societal privileges men and women get it'd never end. Equality in rights can be achieved, but I don't believe equality in privilege can ever be achieved across genders, races, disabilities, because you can generally legislate rights, but you can't effectively legislate privilege, since a ton of it comes down to subjective personal opinion and judgment that either allows or disallows certain groups to enjoy certain privilege.

We don’t have laws dictating what we can or can’t do with our bodies, but women - even if their life depends on it- can’t get an abortion in certain states. It’s not that we have an extra right, it’s that theirs are infringed in that sense.
