The rape allegations honestly don't matter. They're beyond the statute of limitations. The problem for most of us men is that even if we do everything right and can prove the rape didn't happen, the cards are stacked against us.

For Kavanaugh, this happened 30 years ago and there's basically no proof left beyond witnesses, so Ford barely has a case. But what does he do? Have a meltdown on the senate floor and perjure himself a number of times.

This isn't a trial, this is a job interview. An interview for a position that relies heavily on the character of the individual. Quite frankly, very few people care about whether he actually raped her or not. It's his response that is the problem. The only reason the potential rape is still being talked about and investigated is because R's refuse to accept that their candidate is unhinged, so the public is trying to provide them with a mountain of evidence.

He can make this all end right now by withdrawing, and he'll be forgotten about in 2 days.

Ralphing is a single word out of what, half a dozen words associated with drinking and fucking that he gave serially implausible definitions for? Yes of course ralphing at the beach, taken alone, could be food poisoning.

On its own, Devils Triangle could be a private name for a drinking game unknown to the rest of the class, to whom it means MMF threesome.

On its own boofing could refer to farting not anal sex, though that isn't what the rest of the class said and it makes no sense in the sentences written by both boys.

On its own, skis could mean whatever Kav said instead of the universally known brewskis.

And so on for however many words there were.
Alumnius could refer to a date or kiss, 151 is not a brand of 151 proof spirit, Super Q is not the date rape drug Quaalude.
I don't know how many words there were.

Even if you give each instance a 50% chance of being true, which is overly generous for most of them, 7! is one chance in 5040.

I'm not sure if 151 and Super Q came from Kav, maybe that was Swetnick talking about the intricacies of punch-spiking. Let's imagine she was lying about those two things and that they would not even know those words. That is still five redefined words off the top of my head.

5! is 120. The "beyond all reasonable doubt" standard of proof is not usually quantified but I have seen it given as 2% a few times. 1/120 is under 1%, beyond even that standard of proof. But this is madness, we are not in a criminal trial here! We are concerned with trustworthiness not absolutely undeniable guilt. Yet he fails even at the level of undeniable guilt, of a consistent pattern of lying under oath about boozing and fucking terminology, with the obvious intention of supporting his previous misleading statements about his severe boozing and fucking habits.
