What is your opinion on First Wave Feminism or Equity Feminism. I have looked many of the branches of feminism, and they are full of lies and bad or garbage theory, hostile to science, facts, and truth, and generally speaking extremely hostile to men ranging all the way to the full-blown hatred of men that almost all radical feminists spout.

In fact hatred of men is nearly inscribed in the canonical tracts of not only radical feminism but feminism itself. You take women's studies classes and Julie Bindel, Andrea Dworkin, Catharine McKinnon, and Mary Daly are all considered required reading and furthermore, their work is considered to be canonical in modern feminism. In fact, even Valerie Solanis SCUM Manifesto is considered to be a canonical work of modern feminism and is often required reading!

I have met one radical feminist who was actually friendly to me, although her politics were awful. And radfems were actually smarter, more open-minded and in favor of facts, truth, and science than most of the other trends, which surprised me. Nevertheless, radfems are pure evil from any man's POV, and any man siding with them is for all intents and purposes a gender traitor. Furthermore, the cornerstone of 2nd Wave feminist theory itself was rooted in radical feminism. That's the soil from which it sprouted.

I have met a few sex-positive 3rd Wave liberal feminists who I liked, although they are almost all extreme SJW's.

Despite the horror of the modern feminist movement from any sane man's POV, I continue to support 1st Wave or Equity Feminism. Unfortunately it is tied in with conservatism and libertarianism, while I am actually a full-blown Leftist. Christina Hoff Summers, Cathy Young and Camile Paglia are all equity feminists. Equity feminists simply want equal rights for women. I think all men, even MRA's, should support this. After all, we want equal rights for ourselves, right? OK, we should be for equal rights for them too. MRA's should be equalists.

I actually agree with some feminist and even radfem theory about the bad side of men (face it, it's pretty awful), and I even believe in Patriarchy theory. It's clear that women have been living under Patriarchy for 12,000 years now and they still are in much of the world. Nevertheless, patriarchy is fading or gone in the West. On the other hand, the remnants of patriarchy continue to oppress women in the West. However, feminists have gained power in the West and imposed a Matriarchy that is about as bad as the Patriarchy we imposed on them.

So as an MRA equalist and an equity feminist and of course a Leftist, I will support my sisters where they are being oppressed by the remains of Patriarchy and I will also support my brothers where they are being oppressed by this new Matriarchy. This theory holds that both men and women are being oppressed by the opposite sex and that both sexes are in need of liberation from oppression.
