I remember a whole bunch of people telling me when I was younger as much as it's cliche that I did would have better look when I'm older. And when I was younger I thought this was just a stupid cliche/cope. You take the most hard-working and socially funny nerd and he's still going to struggle tons versus his handsome counterpart even if they have similar traits and intelligence. A fat computer geek could be the most socially graceful but for the fact that he has a low status position and for the fact that he is probably young and doesn't have as much money, he doesn't register on too many women's radar.

But I really do think it is something either social or biological because a man getting older has always been coated with having more life experience and confidence. Even when it doesn't make sense

I've had more success with girls now at 26 than I ever did when I was younger and at my most mentally healthy. Which is still such a surprise to me because it blows so many different narratives on both sides at least for my own personal experience. I have no car and no money and I did not finish college, and yes I'm having more success even though I'm still technically in the underclass

When I was 19 I was way more social and understanding and forgiving and way more outgoing but despite what people say that did not make me more attractive
