I get that the "alpha male"/bad boy concept is bandied about in the red pill community but a lot of the qualities that make an "alpha" is assertiveness (not aggression) and confidence.

Redpillers usually claim that women are attracted to confidence and competence in men.

So here's my question:

Isn't confidence a universally attractive trait...in BOTH genders?

Why do redpillers make it seem like confidence and competence are traits only women are attracted to in men?

Aren't men attracted to confidence in women too?

And what about homosexual couples? Do redpillers ever take lesbians into account when they touch upon this subject?
