I've been a long time lurker on here and on the MGTOW subreddit, as a woman, I wanted to know what would make a man shut down on dating or be unsure about wanting to be in a relationship. Today I am finally commenting.

This tweet made me sick to my stomach. My boyfriend and I have been together for a year now and I am his second relationship, his ex girlfriend behaved like the person in this tweet : wanting to put him down for expressing his feelings and mocking him because he is respectful of his partner.

At the time we were talking together (but not in a relationship yet) he wanted to give up on dating and go his own way, but he tried one last time with me and I am very grateful for that and he is as grateful as I am.

I am ashamed to share a chromosome with all the women on this sub, and I am afraid of being seen like them one day. I know I am not like them, but I still feel a certain fear of being associated with them.

I know this may be unrelated but I felt I needed to comment on this one. (I don't know if I am allowed to comment here but I try anyway)
