Distributing child porn online is a federal offense. Which means building a case and then grand jury indicements. Onlyfans will be subpoenaed to provide proof of payments for not only the originator but also all of those who bought it. Which will lead to individual investigations where one by one the fbi will decide whether the person purchased it with ill intent or whether they were innocent and didn't know. Thatll be determined by individual forensic assessments of the consumers computer hardware. That is exactly how an adequate investigation and prosecution goes. If they rush they are likely to not be thorough, so be patient. Its sick but its how it goes.

(6) No person shall be convicted of an offence under this section if the act that is alleged to constitute the offence

(a) has a legitimate purpose related to the administration of justice or to science, medicine, education or art; and
