I have a VERY good new appecation of life and the little things... If convicted i was facing 6 years with a likelihood of 3 minimum. That really changes how you look at your day to day and what you appreciate.
In contrast however its completely warped my sense of justice and i think im a lot better at seeing the bs behind things like "national pride/patriotism" and other movements like "me too" these cult-like followings that dont promote free thought are evil and brainwash the stupid... And at the top of every single one of these movements, someone is making a LOT of money.
But out of it all i do apprecaite the little things now so there is that to come from it.

You can't bundle up "minorities" and "the poor", because Asians (ie. Indians, Koreans, Chinese, etc) are also "minorities" and do NOT face this specific type of discrimination/corruption. They kinda do though.. compare these groups to white people and you'll see. Just because some black people have a slight advantage to others doesn't mean they aren't on average a disadvantaged group. The US had laws to ensure this.

Look at the news my g, yes people of all colors on to jail unfairly. But you can also see how people of color would get more time for the same crime as someone of non color mostly because of their skin for example. Hell the jury would sometimes barely try to look for a just decision because they see your skin color and automatically think your the one to commit the crime.
A better example would be how you could see people of no color lying in court and then admitting that their lying but somehow not going to jail. Then you will also see someone of color just flat out be proven innocent but still get imprisoned.
