Of the critics who didn't like the new Ghostbusters 77% were men. Men are also 76% of all movie critics. Naturally this proves male critics are misogynists

Faced with the prospect of reproductive Rights equal to men feminists suddenly decide that forcing someone to pay for a kid they never wanted is slavery. But only for women.

Men are the vast majority of prisoners. But the rate at which women are imprisoned has dropped slower than for men so let's write an article about how unfair the American prison system is for women

It would appear that feminist policies which work to eliminate male role models from boys' lives are a big contributor to "toxic masculinity".

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The most fervent and common reinforcement of what feminist would described as "toxic masculinity" are women themselves so, this shouldn't be a surprise. I don't think many are aware to it though, most are probably on autopilot.

As Gomer Pyle would say... surprise, surprise surprise. The feminists are so arrogant to think they know and understand men better than men.

Men are obsolete and unnecessary they say and yet clearly they don’t understand how men think, act, feel or why men do the things we do.

When it comes to the issue of rape feminists love to say it’s about power (which seems more like a feminist obsession) but clearly don’t understand or don’t want to understand how a guy might think it’s consensual. If a girl goes out of her way shove her breast or shove her but in a guys face it’s generally going to be assumed that any sexual contact on the females part was wanted. To ignore that is a huge disservice to young girls, even Camille Paglia talks about this yet often shouted down by other feminists.

And leaves are green, your point? We all knew this as anyone whose grown up male.

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics[S] 17 points18 points19 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Still good to prove it. Otherwise it's just an anecdote.

[–]LacklustreFriend 6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

But I thought the feminists loved 'lived experiences'!

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics[S] 11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol. Men don't get to have their experiences counted. That would be mansplaining.

[–]Cookiedoughjunkie 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They love lived experiences so long as it fits their narrative.

They also love "My truth" which has since become codeword for a lie.

[–]Painal_Sex -1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No it isn’t. You are under no obligation to prove your beliefs empirically. Empiricism is for brainlets anyway.

To be honest most people who told me to man up or be a man were a woman tbh

they are just advocating

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics[S] 26 points27 points28 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women emotionally manipulating men to be more silent and unemotional because such men are more useful to them should be considered toxic femininity. Instead feminists blame the boys.

Feminists are some of the worst perpetrators.

They don't often use the term "man up".

But they will use the same logic.

Eg; agree with me or you have fragile masculinity and are an incel.

[–]Cyb3rd31ic_Citiz3n 9 points10 points11 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hoh-boy, have I ever faced the blunt end of that short stick many a times because I said something a Feminist couldn't refute.

[–]Tmomp 11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Should we teach women not to promote sexism in how they raise their children?

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics[S] 7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We do need to have a talk with women about toxic Femininity.

[–]azazelcrowley 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why would they listen?

[–]thereslcjg2000left-wing male advocate 4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I’ll start out but saying that the nicest comments I’ve received in terms of expressing my emotions came from women. I have a few very close female friends who’ve helped me so much in feeling comfortable with myself.

The meanest and most vile comments I’ve received have also come from women. I’ve been told by women that I need to man up, that I’m annoying, that I’m bratty, that I’m inconsiderate, that I’m a baby... And yes, I’ve also been shamed by my mom. She was the one who emphasized when I was younger that I had to be masculine, not my dad.

In my experience most men don’t react especially positively to breaking gender roles, but they don’t react too negatively either. With some exceptions they tend to be sort of indifferent.

[–]azazelcrowley 5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The indifference may well be because it has been psychologically beaten into them that it is not their place to decide.

[–]SonnBaz 4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True.

[–]romulusnr 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm sure it's really because husbands hate wives who raise unmanly sons, or some shit

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics[S] 6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The absent man who had no say in this and who isn't raising the kid is clearly 100% to blame.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Color me surprised.
