I am a 26 female and soon to be a mom (baby boy due in May). I went to college and got an undergrad then a masters degree. I fully believe I was indoctrinated into left leaning thought without any adequate exposure to the other side. I say this because 2 years ago I would have called myself a liberal and a feminist, and that was when I was in school. However now I am way more conservative than ever before (for many reasons) but I recently watched that documentary on Mens Rights called the Red Pill and now I cannot believe I was so brainwashed...I remember literally having conversations with boyfriends and my brother about womens issues, and the minute they would say something along the lines of "well it isnt exactly easy being a man, either" I would automatically get defensive and feel threatened and tell them they are 100% in the wrong, that only women are oppressed and I just couldnt even LISTEN to what they had to say (and these were men in my life I cared about). I am now cringing with shame when I look back on it all, and I realize I was very indoctrinated. I really am an empathetic person and now I see how blind I was to blatantly ignore the reality that men face their own issues and injustices purely because they are men. I see the hyposcrisy of the feminism ideology now. I just want to say I am sorry to everyone for once being someone who harbored such a toxic one sided view of reality. I am happy to share the knowledge now, especially with women in my life who might otherwise be deaf to hearing about it. It especially hits home knowing I am going to have a son soon too.
