Most people simply can't afford to go to court for years. Money wins cases, not facts or recordings. Columbia can afford a lengthy trial, the young man can't.

I know this will piss you people off, but this isn't the result of too much feminism and is, rather, a result of not enough feminism. The problem here, and I'm sure you'd agree with this, is that men who are victims of assault by women aren't taken seriously. Where we disagree is on why that is the case. I believe that the problem here is with societal gender roles/expectations, which many feminists want to get rid of. I think that we, as a society, still see men as more powerful/stronger, and as a result, it seems weird to think that someone who is strong could be hurt by someone who is weaker. I'll note that when I talk about power/strength here, I'm not just talking about physical strength. Anyway, if we were to do away with these stereotypes and expectations, it would do a whole lot to solve this issue. Feminism, even if historically about women's rights, is for both women and men.

I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that the university will unlikely to be held accountable or the fact a fake journalist like Tim Poole has to be the guy telling the public.
