I have four pairs:

One for work (dress shoes)

One for yardwork (old tennis shoes)

One for casual weekend type stuff (I think they're a pair of Vans)

And a pair of boots for the snow / mud that only get worn occasionally.

I’m a guy. Sometimes I wear heels and other “women’s” shoes. And guess what? I’m made fun of by women for it. So if I stop wearing them and just wear my sneakers, I’m made fun of. If I continue wearing a more diverse set, I’m made fun of. It’s a lose-lose.

I've got work shoes for work and a pair of hiking sandals for everything else and go barefoot whenever I can because I like it. This isn't laziness, it's just my preference. Don't get me wrong, I can be lazy as hell, but when what you prefer happens to take less effort, it isn't laziness, it's just your aesthetic.
