I only caught part of the interview on NPR but was shocked to hear the sexist comments. During the segment she claims women have been oppressed by being forced to cook for most of human history.

While this was a bold claim to begin with, she followed it up with even a more bold claim. She claims that when cooking began to become more mainstream male chefs jumped on the opportunity to suppress female chefs to deny them fame.

She goes on explaining why men shouldnt be allowed to cook as it's a female activity.

Mind blowing- first they are oppressed by cooking then claims that men shouldnt be allowed to cook because its female work. No matter what men do they are oppressing women.
