Male nurses are useful.

I had a 6 ft something giant former combat medic helping me in physical therapy. Guy told me about people convulsing in afghanistan and he was the only one big and strong enough to hold them down. These people would have died otherwise.

No profession should be restricted, legally/by policy or socially, to any sex/gender(not the time for that particular argument...), race, sexuality, etc...so long as they are qualified to do so.

And, having a mix of men and women gives better overall diversity of skills/capabilities in the work place. that benefits everyone.
