I wrote the letter and then threw it away. It's not a movie, they don't give a shit. Make your peace with YOURSELF and then move on, you won't find any peace with them.

I did. It was a very heart felt letter. I had known for some time it was over and except for a melt down when it hit that tipping point I was generally good. I never stopped loving. She had messed up our plans and had been working against me for sometime, but had undisclosed mental illness.

I wrote her a letter with my regrets and best wishes. Urged her to get the help she needed , and thanked her for helping raise our wonderful daughter. Went so far as to tell her she would always be family even if we weren't together.

She blocked me from fb and any other social media and the only time I've seen her since is my daughter's college graduation and my daughter's wedding. Kind of sad as I thought we could have been friends.

Nope, didn't even say good-bye to her when I left the courthouse on the day of the final hearing. Don't care if I ever speak to her again.
