We could all end up like my brother who's trapped in a state thousands of miles away from us and who's married to a woman who refuses to care for herself. They have little kids too. I'm amazed he sleeps ever at any point. The kicker: he's the sole breadwinner.

Trying to make it on my own is awful. But at least I know where my money goes.

Seems like a lot when you just repeat yourself. Grocery shopping IS shopping, doing dishes IS cleaning and cooking IS meal planning. And it all averages out to what a day, 2 hours? I’d trade my 8-12 hour shifts 5-7 days a week for 1-3 hours of cooking and dishes any time.
