we broke up about a month ago after 5 years in a 'happy' bluepilled relationship.

i was doing pretty well at first. i realized i had given up too many of my hobbys and social life for her. she took a lot from me and when she left there was just this huge void.

after the split i started losing more weight, i'm making music again, slowly building my social life back up, will start lifting soon. and i discovered TRP.

i still suffer from temporary episodes where i want my ex back and can't keep my mind off her. or at least that i want her attention. TRP has made me realize what a beta, bluepilled idiot i've been by tolerating everything - from her complaining and demanding behavior, forcing me to fit into her future plans, to her not having any social life at all. i guess what bothers me most about the breakup is the realisation that i've failed to be a real man to her. even though it should be okay like this; we simply didn't belong together.

since she basically had 0 friends and didn't contact me much after she left, i know she's fucking around with (an)other guy(s). should it bother me? no. but sometimes it does. i think it's mostly the fact that i want her chasing me as i've been keeping contact to an absolute minimum since she left. i'd prefer to fully ghost her, but we still have some important business to take care of as we lived together, i'm dictating the rules on this though.

how do i get my life on track and get the fuck over her already? should i have more patience? tbh i don't have much need to be around other women except for a much needed ego boost. guess i'm not that big of an asshole. but the nights alone in my apartment are sometimes killing me.
