Man, we both did A LOT of work, mostly in a good way. To communicate better and understand each other and how we hurt each other over the last 19 years 16 of marriage three kids oldest ten.

Initially she was going to agree to a deal so unfair to her that I doubt judge would sign off (I'm a fairly prominent lawyer in the court house we would file in, and I think I'd get some side eye from the judges I otherwise am in trial Infront of on a regular basis).

Kept working on things, trying to get her to slow the fuck down. She did eventually, and agreed no introduction of anyone new by either of us until six months after divorce finalized (so nine months from now at earliest).

I keep house, but she can take residential time here that we will split week to week (I always live here but in basement man cave in her weeks). While kids are physically with me full time she pays me child support.

Alimony drops off in two years when she gets her grad degree, and ends completely four years out. By that point if still taking her time at my house she's net paying me.

No new partners at my house. She has to live elsewhere, starting today, half time.
