Thought I would give you guys an update to everything.

Basically, everything blew up in my face. People turned on me and teachers treated me poorly, causing my grades to suffer. Even though everyone kind of knew she was crazy, I was surprised by the backlash. Her last rape accusation turned out to be false, so I had hoped that people would dismiss it.

My closest friends remained and defended me when people whispered. I found help in the previous accused person and he helped me contact the lawyer he used.

I went to court and after several days of constant preparing and yelling in the court room, I was finally proven innocent. I had the security cameras and witnesses of her behavior. She had a text that I sent saying that I loved her (sent 3 months ago).

Regardless of how little evidence she had, the court was super on the fence. I am grateful for my lawyer who helped me get through it.

After I was proven innocent, I’ve been much snappier at people for treating me poorly. Most students ignore me now, but my teachers have reverted to their previous behavior and now the girl is struggling in school.

Although all this has happened, I filed for a restraining order and she has now lost her top ten spot in our school to me, resulting in more scholarships. Thank you for all the advice. I can’t shake the trauma of having to go through all of this, but I’m glad it turned out for me in the end. If this ever happens to any of you, please report it immediately to get in front of the situation. Don’t just take it, it will backfire.
