I haven't spent much time with people who are into RP but have met one or two. I think the thing that bothers me the most is just how dismissive they are of my perspective. They think they know more about my life and my thoughts than I do and that is very annoying. If I was less secure or confident it could also really mess with my self-image because they'd be telling me things and I'd start second-guessing myself. Thankfully TRP was not as much of a thing when I was young enough to fall for that.

After years of torture from my RP ex, I ended up suicidal. From around 16, I felt my life being derailed, I could barely do anything, almost dropped out of high school due to depression. I was extremely anxious throughout my teens because I felt scared he would leave me. I remember it was so severe I could barely breathe during the day, I felt like I couldn't control my thoughts at all, especially during the ghosting periods, where he'd offer 0 explanation as to why he needed to ghost aside from it being 'all my fault'. I felt like in the decade I knew him his whole life seemed to revolve around dangling the carrot infront of me, then taking it away. I am doing fine now, just CPTSD... but from time to time I ruminate over how psychotic and sadistic it all was.

I have a 17 year old brother who's a big redpill, andrew tates fan type kid. And my impression is that they're often extremely arrogant and think they know better than anyone else.

Talking about "females this and that" but also never dated once, and only gain his impressions of everyone through social media. I think that says enough about these redpill people, they're unrealisitc and assume everyone doesn't know better than them, and still thinks "redpill or bluepill matrix question" is like deep.

At the end of the day, these men are just kids. Kids who think everyone is "brainwashed by the government" and "people need men like us to prove a difference in the world".

It's infuriating, but at the end of the day they're clearly being teenagers. Even those who are 25, and those who are 45 making podcasts talking shit about women (18-20 year old women who don't know any better btw), but also never had a successful marriage.

It doesn't affect me anymore, since I've outgrown their shennanigans. This is coming from someone who'd had a shitty father who talk shit about women but never mustered up his courage to be a proper father. They're all talk, and none of that shit means anything in the grand scheme of things.

I know my lil bro is better than my dad, so he just gotta experience life a little bit more before he understands it. Nothing in real life is like how social medias broadcast it to be.

He would never admit he is, but the man I was in love with is 100% RP. He drove me into psychosis several times, but that could be coupled with my bpd diagnosis. Though tbh I didn’t exhibit many symptoms before him so I’m questioning if the bpd is just me justifying my reaction to his abhorrent behavior.

I still talk to him, but I am cold and distant. We were never dating because we live too far. The minute I told him I was done catering to him and was focusing on myself, but we could still be friends, he went crazy. You could see how distraught he was that someone he thought he had all this power over was suddenly disinterested in him. I don’t answer his calls or texts right away and suddenly he tries to be nice instead of tearing me down but it’s all disingenuous and I am not interested. It’s honestly very sad to see how much of his ego was held up by destroying me. And working on my own insecurities I am almost at the point where I won’t be dealing with him at all.

Don’t judge me- there is more context and nuance than I can fit in 100 comments. But that’s the point we’re at now.

He really crushed my self-confidence and made me hate/doubt who I was, probably to make me more “submissive”. I knew I had to get out asap once I started having suicidal thoughts.

They always assumed they knew more about me and that I didn't know what I wanted just because I was a woman. They completely refused to believe me when I was said woman haven't been incubators for their seed for evolution, he wanted me to be a traditional woman but refused to be a traditional man. He agreed with the sex trade of woman and was confused when I explain how terrifying his thinking process was. My mom described him as a younger version of my father before he started beating her up for 20 years, and urged me to leave him. When I did finally leave he felt entitled to spread rumors about how we had coitus relationships Even though we didn't. (We were only 14)

He told all his friends to harrass me into thinking I should become a future pornstar because of my body. He started dating my 4th grade old niece because the RP teaches them to land woman when they're young and vulnerable to better be able to emotionally manipulate them (I don't think this is somethingthe redpill teaches but it definitely got twisted up). He found out from my neice from my sister had my niece when she was a young teenager then started spreading around school that I had kids and I was married at 14.

I told my sister what was happening I told my mom what was happening at school I got pulled out of school for a bit, and tried to emotionally recover. I tried to commit suicide a couple times because of everything that happened. And it's left a permanent fear of guys settled into my heart, which led to me being single or without friendships with guys till now.

A dude here, but for me I now have to work much harder to prove to a woman that I am not one of those red pill Menstrual Clots. I am way too confident when a woman attempts to break that confidence. If she feels better trying, then so be it. At least then she can trust I have my emotional shit together. It is really a shame that women must go to that extreme out of self preservation.
