If it's that big of a deal, at the cost of even worse prospects, live specifically in areas without common-law marriage considered and don't marry (or find a similar solution to that with marriage, but it's harder).

Then you can treat the partner like a roommate for your basic social needs to be met and bang hookers once in a while legally and safely (full service). Ideally someone asexual who's cool with you doing that shit on the side.

Not an easy arrangement to set-up but no feelings get hurt. Just more effort on your end to meet your needs.
