Men need to respect themselves socially and Women need to respect themselves personally.

Men tend to not respect themselves socially and it's honestly degrading seeing it happen again and again. I see many complain about a gf calling them an insult behind their back and it makes me go "huh? Why are you with her?".

I'd rather be single at that point because to me respect and trust are important. If she isn't willing to insult me personally then I know she doesn't trust me and rather burn me to the ground for some brownie points. I ain't risking my social life for someone to take it down behind my back.

Meanwhile many women tend to not respect themselves personally. I see plenty of them try to focus on getting what seems to be a socially acceptable man but he breaks all her boundaries. I think it's the trap of courtesy. Good manners seem like such a good thing when one doesn't properly respect their own agency and boundaries.

Nice guys tend to open doors, give gifts and ect but also are so damn forceful they don't consider or respect what one would want. Take it you say you don't want flowers and say so. Those types of guys will just pressure you to take it. Meanwhile everyone calls you rude for saying no because the gesture of giving flowers is considered good or romantic?! Nah, he specifically broke your own agency.
