Those hookups women try “once or twice” and rate as “utter shit” are often with unrealistically attractive men that they’d never be able to lock down long term. Those men get so much attention that they don’t need to give the slightest shit about pleasuring a woman. Women to them are endless, discardable objects.

Meanwhile, the guys actually willing to give a shit get sexually ignored and overlooked. If/when they finally do get a chance, they’re extremely inexperienced or have been corrupted/ruined by porn.

Hookups are utter shit for women because of women.

I feel like this just depends on the circle you run in. Most of PPD members are college educated and live (or have lived in the more progressive cities). When I was in uni for example, hookup culture and casual sex were heard about ALL the time. But if you go to a rural village, it’s not really a thing there.

In big cities it is also very common.

Do they? I saw a a statistic saying men were more likely to regret a hookup than women. It’s was an attraction study. So in theory the guys were having casual sex with lower tier women and women were obviously having sex with higher tier men. The men had significantly more regrets than women. Too much dumpster diving.

Beyond all that, wouldn’t we need to determine how much incels and conservatives think hook up culture is happening and compare it to actual data? Then we can find out if it’s not as popular as they think.

Seems like you think, that they think, it’s happening a lot. Besides, if you’re an ultra conservative any amount of premateral sex is too much. “Once or twice” is too fucking much. Duh.

Yea in my friend group I prob got caught up in the hookup culture more but honestly maybe it’s cause it’s the college scene but hookup culture felt pretty high like it was not hard at all and I’m an average looking dude. Out of college it’s probably a lot lower but in that college space I’d say it’s a 50/50 on people looking to hookup and people looking for something real
