Apparently men are lonely because of their status as "oppressors"...

Earp implies men should follow along as Mr Darcy, who: "...undid his solitude by giving himself totally, by dropping the act, by saying how he felt."

Which is another way of saying the broken record "mEn sHoUlD tAlK aBoUt tHeRe fEeLiNgS" in response to when we try to bring up men's mental health issues, or discuss other reasons that men are lonely.

Other reasons such as:

• Women being more social and open with each other leading to it being easier to make friendships

Example 1) A trans man (FtM) cries when saying how hard it is to make friends as a man, and the shock of the loneliness they experienced after transitioning.

Example 2) Norah Vincent dresses as a man as an experiment, and finds out men have it pretty hard socially. She ended up needing therapy afterwards to deep with the depression she experienced from the experiment.

• Men who go down the red pill path and learn about things like male disposability, about how many laws are against us (divorce courts, women statistically getting reduced sentences for the same crimes, etc)

• Men facing social ostracisation from other men and women for being open about their feelings (I will say this has improved imo in the last few years with more people being accepting of men opening up, but it's gota long way to go)

• Articles like this one calling men oppressors, that contribute to the mainstream opinion that men should be feared/not trustsed

• The plethora of double standards against men. How the political modern left are more likely to hold a man accountable for things that were done before he was born, than hold a woman accountable for something she actually did

• Etc etc... The usual talking points
