I’m finally ready to file (community property state). We attempted to discuss division of assets, but when we met I disclosed and she did not. We both discussed a mediated divorce, but she has now dragged her feet for months. We have no kids and do not own a house, but I have significant assets I consider separate property (cash gifts from family used to purchase stocks). Should I attempt a property settlement agreement before filing?
