I’m about 4 months since signing. So far our spring break road trip. Baseball games museums, allowed to be spontaneous without a voice slicing fun or worry about getting sick just for being out in the world.

When my daughter pitched a fit when I told her I had to take her home. No seriously;

The hugs, the walks together, playing outside with my son, being able spend quality time in general with them without my wife flooding a schedule with a bunch of unnecessary social bullshit. Being able to teach them morality such as “we tell the truth at Daddy’s house, we say we’re sorry when we make a mistake, etc” without my wife telling me “that’s abusive!”

The fun police 😂😂😂 “safety first, fun last” I took my teenagers skiing last Christmas in park city. I couldn’t tell if they were having fun but on the way home they told me it was the best vacation ever 🙌🏻

Last night my four year old and my two year old were sitting on the couch watching TV and my two year old leaned over and hugged his sister and told her he loved her so much. That might not sound like it has anything to do with me, but I know how my parents divorce affected me, so to see them so loving and happy and feel safe in my home made me feel like I'm doing something right.
