r/truerateme was going viral on Twitter with normies because they couldn’t comprehend an average, non-fat white woman being rated as anything less than a 7. As a result, the subreddit exploded in popularity over the last two months.

I see this critique a lot. And it's perfectly understandable and true. But... but, who cares? They want and get attention. So what? How does it affect your life besides giving you like 2 phone screen inches to scroll past?

What's the issue? I didn't even know it existed until now.

And from what little I scrolled through, most of the people on there just looked like normal people you'd run across every day. I didn't see any stunners looking for ego boosts or anything like that.

its already a known fact that these subreddits are also filled with men posting pics of women they know, there are def women posting for attention there, but given what an ex mod said and how so many accounts are new there is a lot that’s suspect - especially on truerateme (which has been exposed as an incel sub where the mods incentivize putting down women)
