I'm going through a difficult divorce, and I could really use some advice and insight into my situation. Here's what's been happening:

During the divorce proceedings, there were some disputed expenses, and I provided emails and receipts as PDFs that I had saved before deleting my Gmail/Amazon accounts. However, my ex-wife has accused me of fabricating these documents, despite knowing that I don't have the originals anymore. The case was closed not in my favor as I had to pay for everything, but now she sent a discovery to admit or deny that I fabricated the documents.

In response, my lawyer stated that the request was irrelevant because the issue had already been resolved between the parties and wasn't likely to lead to any admissible evidence relevant to the current court matters.

Surprisingly, her lawyer recently had a phone conference with my lawyer, and it seems they didn't like the answers provided. Now, my ex has filed a motion to appear in court.

I have a few questions and concerns about this whole situation:

Why is she pursuing this even after the case has been closed? What could be her motives?

Is she trying to harass me or gain an advantage in future legal proceedings?

Can I get into trouble for providing the documents in the first place, even if they were genuine when submitted?

Could this situation potentially lead to something on my records?

I must admit, my ex has been acting irrationally, making false accusations, and I'm unsure why she's so insistent on these documents.
