As they should if the crime is done which warrants such an action. Why it's blown out on all major media. Almost like the woman here is a victim. Men are executed on daily basis.

I'm not a fan of executions (except in VERY specific circumstances) but this isn't somehow a tragedy because a woman was executed. Men are executed all the time.

And in Singapore, women are spared from any form of corporal punishment, in this case caning, be it in schools or the prisons. So in this aspect they do enjoy and reap the benefits of being treated unequally but this is something to keep as the local women group never made any issue about it. Equality at its finest.

Fact, drugs kill. Opinion, people who traffic drugs should be killed because at some point they either have or will be accessory to murder/ assisted suicide. Fact, trafficking drugs is a death sentence gender makes no difference. Opinion, she got exactly what she deserved regardless of her personal reasons or situations.

Standing up for rights is all well and good. The restriction of substances was forced unto governments by people in order to help stabilize society. Saying now that they are taking away freedoms by dealing out death penalties to people trading in illegal substances is hypocritical of the people. These are laws for a reason and forgetting why we have them is no excuse to blame anyone for enforcing them. If you truly believe that things should change then put forth the effort to make that change openly and honestly just keep in mind not everyone will agree with it.
