People who deny that are mostly older and dont use social media apart from reddit or facebook.

Girls constantly brag, show off their hot boyfriends and shit on average males on tiktok/ig. These posts get hundreds of thousands of likes and positive comments from other girls, as you said they wouldnt be able to say stuff like that irl due to being shamed, but there are no repercussion for their real thoughts on the internet

I think people fail to realise that Internet is a way for people to express their true self without facing consequences. So even if they are a troll, that still says something about who they are.

Ok so because its the most popular its automaticaly real life? World of warcraf was the most popular game but far from real life. Marvel movies are super popular bot not real at all.

You dont have to direct you life after trends and statistics. You want to be "average" and "normal" (evil normies duh?) that you dont realize even if something is super popular doesnt mean everybody uses it and it is not real life. You are lucky and given the gift to see through this vapid tiktok bullshit but instead of embracing it and looking for people who also dont like using this app, you cry about how its "soo popular". These statistics mean NOTHING to you as an individual. Its time to log out and enjoy the real life :)

The type of people who post on TikTok are people who like attention and who like making videos of themselves. So, shallow people.

Additionally, like all social media, TikTok has algorithms. If you're regularly looking at these types of videos, you're going to see more and more of them.

No one is saying shallow women don't exist. We're saying that these shallow women aren't a representation of women as a whole.
