(I guess I mean documents instead of papers) What would you do?
Stbxw moved to an other apartment last saturday. Kids; son 13 stays with me to 100% and daughter stays 50%. Ofc she took all important papers with her as she always took care of those. After 3 days we noticed our son's healthcare card is not here which is needed to use healthcare. We got it now. Then school papers were missing from our son which were needed to start school again. So I thought wtf is also still at stbxw's place.
I checked and I thought and realized the birth certificates and our officiall wedding certificate is not here. So I asked for at least a copy. I guess I will need those papers to file (which can only be done 9 months later) for divorce. I recieved the originals and should make a cooy myself.
Now we organized a transport of last things I found in the apartment, lots of crap, on sunday. And I should give back the originals. Those papers belong ofc to the 2 of us. I am not sure if I should just give her the copies (and get into another fight) or return the originals.
We never had shared accounts, I always took care of taxes and still will need documents from her later this year. But I can't think of anything else.
Is it worth the fight to keep those papers or shall I just give them back?
