I'm going through the process now. I don't have the financial means to buy her out and I don't want her buying me out( something I know she can through her parents) so the house is going to be sold is what I'm going for. I'm also not moving an inch and staying calm while we go through this, she can move if she wants.

I could never live with the idea that I have to come to the house I worked so hard for and ring the doorbell to pick up my kids. I won't be taking a huge financial hit (she works and has a good pay to also afford a place)and will look for a place to buy for me and my kids when all this is over or rent a place temporary.

The reason she's filing for divorce is because of lack of communication and me not seeking help for childhood trauma because I look for distractions by helping other people and behind my computer. She comes up with a different story each time. My brother is now blaming himself because I helped him out of depression after our father passed.

I'm self employed which also provides me the time to be flexible and take care of the kids, I use my evenings to get my certs up to date and try to learn new technologies, I do this while she's away most evenings, but she manages to accuse me of hiding from childhood trauma. Though her ex-boyfriend who just moved into our neighborhood and another friend who she hangs out with got a divorce had nothing to do with destroying our home at all. My grandma is hitting 90 and doesn't know who she is anymore and her kids abundant her so I've been trying to arrange care for her. All these things I've discussed with her and I thought she'd have my back.

Anyway I'm sticking with the house being sold and starting new with my kids regardless of how many days I get them each week.

Life will get better after all of this and I just can't wait to share my life with my kids, just the three of us. I may have failed them in marriage life but I'm going to be the best dad and stable factor in their lives as I've always been.
